Mental May

From what I can gather, May is going to be a rockin' month for the "mentally interesting". Not only is May "Mental Health Awareness Month", apparently Congress in the USA has also decreed that May be "Borderline Personality Awareness Month". I heard from my friend Jennifer over at BPD in OKC that May 15 has been designated the second Wear Purple for BPD Awareness Day. There's a lot to celebrate!

I am following Jennifer and Wandering Coyote's lead in supporting Chato B. Stewart's Cartoon-a-thon and have donated my $25 in the hope I will be immortalised in a Chato caricature! I think that's just the thing to cheer myself up and to celebrate this great month of Mental May.

I second WC's "Woo-hoo!" and raise her a "Good for you!"

Thank you for taking part in both BPD awareness month and the Cartoon-a-thon.

And thanks for linking to my blog!

Thanks Lil for sharing. Is there a list somewhere that lists all the "monthly acknowledgements," i.e. "Mental Awareness Month?" Like what will be next month?

Blessings dear one and hope you have a good weekend!!
